Major Requirements
The Religious Studies (RLST) major encompasses both breadth and depth of study. Major requirements are:
- Four courses in a specialized field at intermediate and advanced levels.A specialized field of study may be based on a specific religious tradition, philosophical theme, historical period, or geographic area. Other examples of specialized fields include: Comparative Global Religions; Gender, Women, and Sexuality; Philosophy of Religion and Religious Thought; and Religion and Social Change. - Two integrative courses: RLST 180 PO and RLST 190 PO . It is recommended that RLST 180 PO be completed prior to the senior year.
- Three elective courses in Religious Studies outside the specialized field.
- RLST 191 PO -Senior Thesis .
