Planned and designed places of learning in North America represent a historical record from the 17th century forward. The primary focus of this course, the conservation of Pitzer’s mid-century California Modern campus, provides a specific setting and narrative in this important history as it also addresses issues of evaluation and conservation for the century ahead.
