Description: Introduction to history and contemporary reality of women in Central America and the U.S. examining gender as a component of social movements and explores historical and political contexts in which multiple and distinct feminisms develop (e.g., in Marxist movements, among working, middleclass, first and developing world woemn, and LGBTI community).
