Description: An introductory studio course oriented toward exploring the possibilities of the utilitarian and ceremonial vessel. Students will utilize a variety of techniques, including the potter’s wheel and hand-building, along with basic glaze formulation and application and kiln firing to create unique, well thought-out pottery.
