PSYC 134 PZ -Political Psychology Institution: Pitzer College
Description: This course introduces the field of political psychology. The focus will be on how psychological factors influence politics with issues around governance, democracy, citizen competence, and decision-making. We will ask questions, including what citizens know about politics and government, what motivates them to engage in politics, what hinders civic engagement, how emotions affect their judgment and decision-making, and what the implications of psychology are for political science.
