CR 102 PZ -Culture, Justice, and Sustainable Development in Latin America Institution: Pitzer College
Description: This course provides students with an interdisciplinary overview of Costa Rica’s history, politics, culture, environment, and contemporary issues. Through lectures from Costa Rican experts, study trips, host family stays, discussions, community projects, and writing assignments, students will connect their personal and field-based experiences in San José and Baru with academic concepts related to culture, social justice, and sustainable development in Costa Rica. Restricted to students in the Pitzer in Costa Rica semester study abroad program.
