ART 124 PZ -Text & Image Workshop

Description: This course will examine the intersection of poetry and photography with an emphasis on creative exchange between writers and image-makers. We will consider artwork that incorporates text, poetry that makes use of visual materials, and collaborations. We will also explore alternative models of disseminating writing and visual art outside of formal galleries, museums, and large publishing houses, focusing on small presses, community-based practices, and DIY initiatives.
