EasterSeal/HeadStart Early Childhood Education Program at Pitzer is a national non-profit working toward the day every child enters school prepared to succeed. Through Jumpstart, college students work in teams at local preschools serving neighborhoods impacted by inequitable policies and structures. Our students focus on social and emotional support, school success, family involvement and developing future teachers and advocates of early childhood education. Jumpstart works to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive as we collectively work toward equity and access to high-quality education making our communities stronger.
