Pool Policy

Our priority is your safety, so we thank you for being mindful of each other and Pitzer’s pool policies.

• The capacity of the pool area is 90 people.
• Drugs, alcohol, and other prohibited substances are not permitted.
• Glass of any kind is not permitted.
• Diving/jumping off furniture or buildings into the pool is not permitted.
• Patio furniture should not be moved into the pool.
• No running.
• All members of the Pitzer community, including guests, are required to wear clothing at all times when in public. Swimwear must be worn at the pool area.
• The pool is located in a residential area, so please be mindful of noise.
• All personal belongings and trash should not be left at the pool. Please clean up after yourself.
• If the pool gates are locked, the pool is closed and should not be accessed. Do not jump the fence.

The GSC and pool are monitored regularly by GSC staff, and we ask that students follow the instruction of GSC and Pitzer staff as safety or policy concerns arise. Students who fail to comply with the policies above may be subject to a Community Standards process. In addition, severe and/or consistent policy violations may result in extended pool closures.
