Description: This course will guide you through the process of writing a senior thesis or independent research project in an
interdisciplinary field of inquiry. Although designed for students pursuing special majors, the course is open to any student seeking a structured senior thesis experience in their major. The course will guide you through developing a research question, entering a scholarly conversation, and generating a persuasive argument in response. Each week we will tackle a different aspect of the writing and research process. By the end of the course, you will produce a thesis or substantive research essay on a topic of your choice.
