CHLT 118 PZ -Gender & Global Restructuring Institution: Pitzer College
Description: In this course we will explore the relationship between globalization, gender and work. We will study the major trends of global restructuring and their effect on the gender division of labor. Using examples of three major gendered production networks: export production, sex work and domestic service through the lives and experiences of poor women.
