ANTH 075 PZ -Anthropology of Care Institution: Pitzer College
Description: This course explores anthropological perspectives on care, centering ethnographic accounts of care practices globally to understand the economic, political, moral, and lived realities of care. Throughout the course we will look at how care has been theorized within medical anthropology and healthcare settings, feminist critiques of care as a moral practice, care in relation to kinship and relatedness, and the economization of care and care work.
