Description: Culture has a lot to do with how successful and healthy an organization is and the outcomes it produces. but what is culture? culture sounds easy to grasp (we complain about it all the time :), yet is also amorphous, abstract, and contested? how do we know culture when we see it, and how do we document and analyze it? more importantly, how do we contribute to it? who is responsible for the organizational culture we inhabit; who is to be celebrated for it when culture feels good; who is to be blamed when culture goes bad? taking a step back, how do we distinguish between good and bad culture? and how do we generate more of the good and learn from the bad? **this is taught as an inside-out course in spring 2026**
