Group Processes & Intergroup Relations Seminar & Practicum is a course that explores the rich world of what we stand to gain from being a part of groups, how groups come to be, how they are maintained, how groups interact with each other, and much more. Grounded in empirical research, the seminar format combines critical discussions of assigned articles accompanied by interactive content, providing you with historical context, theoretical insights, present-day findings, and practical, relevant applications. As a practicum, you will gain hands-on experience with the research process by developing and conducting two studies (informed by topics discussed in class); in addition to this, you will communicate your findings for both studies via APA (7th edition) style reports in addition to a final presentation that showcases your final experimental study.
