NEUR 125L JT -Minds, Brains, and Programs Institution: Pitzer/Scripps
Description: Our sense of what separates biological and artificial intelligence keeps shifting, now as much as ever. In this course, we will consider classic and contemporary perspectives from Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Computer Science regarding the building blocks of intelligence. We will complement class discussions with projects done by groups and individuals from across disciplines. Prerequisite(s): At least two courses in Biology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Philosophy, or Psychology, or instructor approval. Course cross-listed as COGS123L JT. Course will meet Tier 3 requirement in Neuroscience major, and Natural Science GE.
