Description: Introduction to Transformative and Restorative Justice:
Students will be introduced to the theory and practice of two community-based justice
models: Transformative and Restorative Justice. We will focus on examining these
models from a psychological lens focusing on liberation and social psychology theories
of trauma, healing and justice. For the practicum, students will conduct two qualitative
research projects related to transformative justice.
