ORST 100A PZ -Organizational Theory in Praxis Institution: Pitzer
Description: This special Inside-Out section of Org Theory aims to bring Org Studies majors at The Claremont Colleges and at the California Rehabilitation Center together to form a vibrant learning community grounded in humble inquiry, reciprocity, and interdependence.** Org Theory offers students tools (theories, metaphors, lenses) to denaturalize the common-sense, taken-for-granted patterns and practices that currently structure our collective lives. Because critique is only the first step, students are invited to go beyond an analysis of ‘what is’ to re-envision ‘what could be.’ What alternative futures are possible when we combine tools from formal coursework with our organizational agency, values, lived experience, yearnings, and imagination?
Prerequisite(s): See the current course schedule for registration restrictions.
