GFS 026 PZ -Introduction to Gender Studies Institution: Pitzer
Description: This course introduces students to the interdisciplinary field of Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Issues to be covered may include: transnational, intersectional and antiracist approaches and methodologies; the social construction of gender and sexuality; the interplay between race, class, and gender in the US and abroad, the gender and sexual politics of everyday life; and the gender and sexual politics of colonialisms, imperialisms, nationalisms and decoloniality.
