Description: Representation Matters: Women, Politics and the Environment Since the beginning of time, women have influenced politics and public policy in local, regional, and national settngs. This course will introduce students to women of diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds who have shaped environmental policy, public policy, and politics. Students will analyze women’s strategies to impact environmental and social justice policy worldwide during this interactive seminar course. This course promotes intercultural understanding, social justice and social responsibility.
