ECON 155 PZ -Urban Economics Institution: Pitzer
Description: The field of urban economics introduces space into economic models and studies the location of economic and human activity. This course of urban economics will focus on three questions and how economic rationale affects them. Why do cities exist? Why do certain parts of metropolitan areas grow more rapidly than others? How do firms and households decide where to locate within given metropolitan areas?
