CGH 100 JT -Introduction to Public Health Institution: Pitzer
Description: Introduction to Public Health is a multi-disciplinary course in which major areas of public health
will be examined through case projects and analysis of specific diseases. The course will also
provide an introduction into how public health data are collected and analyzed. As a survey of
the entire field of public health, the course provides a broad overview for students to the field, as
well as providing a foundation for students who wish to pursue additional coursework in public
health. No prerequisites.
