NEUR 148L KS -Neuroscience I:Cell, Molecular

Description: Current and historic methods of analysis will be discussed in relation to neurons and nervous system function. The focus will be on the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal activity and function. The laboratory will introduce students to methods used for cellular neurobiology. Prerequisites: BIOL043L and BIOL044L, or BIOL040L and BIOL044L; CHEM040L, CHEM015L, or CHEM029L, or CHEM040L and CHEM015L; or both semesters of the AISS course. Enrollment limited to 18. Offered every fall. Formerly also listed as BIOL148L KS.
