GREK 104 PO -Readings in Koine Greek Institution: Pomona
Description: Koine Greek was the common language of the Eastern Mediterranean during the Hellenistic and Roman eras. This course allows students to hone their skills by translating selections from important Koine texts (the Septuagint and the New Testament) and authors (such as Philo and Josephus). Prerequisites: GREK001 PO and GREK002 PO, or GREK022 PO, or permission of instructor. P/NP only. Half-credit. May be repeated for credit. Previously offered as CLAS104 PO.
