Description: This half-course discusses the application of evolutionary principles to the development of new biological medicines and materials. It will be a literature-focused survey providing an overview of the theories, methodologies, and applications of molecular evolution in the laboratory.Prerequisites: Either BIO/CHEM177(KS), CHEM115(PO), CHEM182(HM), or permission of the instructor.
