Description: This course focuses on federal policy regarding the environment in the United States. It will provide a history of environmental protection as well as analysis of current policy and the politics of regulation and US participation in international efforts to stem carbon emissions. Close attention will be paid to issues of energy/fossil fuels, environmental justice, and epigenetics.
