Description: This course will emphasize the chemistry and biochemistry vital to drug design and drug action. Clinically important compounds will be used as examples throughout the course, with special emphasis on neurochemical aspects. Structural activity and rational drug design concepts will also be discussed. One-half course credit. Prerequisite: Chemistry 117L.
