Description: Introduction to the collection, manipulation and interpretation of data collected by Earth-observing satellites. An understanding of basic physical principles, integrated with extensive hands-on work emphasizing digital analysis techniques, paves the way for a project in which students explore a complex environmental question. Prerequisites: Area 4 course or permission of instructor.
