SOC 199A PZ -Research Design for Thesis Institution: Pitzer
Description: This seminar is designed to guide you through the process of developing and drafting an empirical study that can be submitted as your senior thesis. Students may find this course helpful because we will review how to write a literature review, theory, and methods. This course is not a replacement for a qualitative or quantitative course. Additionally, we will discuss the role of IRB in human subjects? analysis and we will learn from some guest speakers who will discuss survey design and content analysis. We will also discuss and review how writing a thesis is an iterative process.
