PSYC 189 PZ -Ethical Issues in Psychology Institution: Pitzer
Description: This seminar will examine ethical
issues in psychological research, application, and practice. Topics to be covered
include a review of federal and APA ethical guidelines, the ethical treatment of
human participants, informed consent, deception in research, privacy and
confidentiality, scientific misconduct, intelligence testing, and ethical issues in
therapy and academe.
Prerequisite(s): Limited to senior majors in psychology with others by permission. Please also check the current course schedule for requirements.
