PSYC 181 PZ -Psychological Disorders Institution: Pitzer
Description: This course provides a broad overview to psychopathology and the study of psychological disorders, including depressive, anxiety, addictive, somatic, eating, psychotic, and personality disorders. Topics include” Theoretical perspectives for conceptualizing “normal” and “abnormal” behavior; approaches to defining, assessing and treating major symptom domains; and critical evaluation of current research on the causes and mechanisms of mental illness.
