Description: A survey with examples of modern numerical techniques for investigating a range of elliptic, parabolic, and hyperbolic partial differential equations central to a wide variety of applications in science, engineering, and other fields. Prerequisites: entry-level programming, differential equations, scientific computing or equivalent courses, or permission of instructor.
