LGCS 125 PO -Field Methods in Linguistics Institution: Pomona
Description: Where do we get the data on which linguistic theory is based? In this class, students learn hands-on how to systematically approach the study of an unfamiliar language. Languages vary from year to year; previous languages have included Luganda, Malayalam and Kipsigis. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisites: Either LGCS 105 PO, LGCS 108 PO, or LGCS118 PO.
