Description: Global Capitalism in Question
This seminar will explore globalization and its impact on the Third World. The course will discuss the various interdisciplinary perspectives on the nature of globalization and the consequences (positive and negative) on the developmental policies and strategies in Third World societies. The discussions will center on the relationships
among economic, political and social-cultural issues, at national, regional and transnational levels. The seminar is designed for seniors in IIS, Political Studies and Economics.
