Description: Introduction to Gender & Women’s Studies. Analyzes systemic and institutionalized forms of inequality and discrimination, production of sexual and gender difference historically and cross-culturally and articulations of gender with race, ethnicity, class, sexuality and colonialism. Embraces various feminist disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives.
