CHEM 052L KS -From Ancient to Modern Science Institution: Pitzer/Scripps
Description: This course traces the development of science from Ancient Greek traditions through the birth of modern science to the present. It will explore the methods and findings of the Ancients and of modern science, including the Newtonian Synthesis, relativity, and quantum mechanics. Students will participate in laboratory exercises and demonstrations. Enrollment limited to 45. Laboratory fee: $30. Offered occasionally.
