BIOL 187P KS -Special Topics: Herpetology Institution: Pitzer/Scripps
Description: This is a taxon-oriented course that will focus on the biology of amphibians and reptiles. Within a phylogenetic context, we will learn about the evolution, ecology, behavior, morphology, and physiology of these highly successful animals. The course will comprise lectures, class discussion, and a field trip. Prerequisites: Biol 43L/44L, or Biol 40L/44L, or Biol 42L/44L or both semesters of the AISS course. Offered occasionally.
