A study of structure and function in living systems at the molecular level. Discussion centers on intermediary metabolism, cellular control mechanisms, and energy flow, with particular emphasis on how this information is developed. Prerequisites: BIOL 043L or BIOL 040L, or BIOL 042L, or both semesters of the AISS course (AISS 001AL, AISS 001BL, AISS 002AL, AISS 002BL); CHEM 116L, CHEM 117L, or permission of instructor.
