PSYC 151P PZ -Experimental Child Psychology Practicum

Description: This practicum course will give students hands-on experience in the design and methodologies involved in research in child psychology. Students will participate in all phases of the research process, from conducting a literature search, synthesizing and identifying gaps in the literature, designing a research study, collecting and analyzing data, writing up APA-style reports, and presenting the study findings. Weekly practicum meetings will consist of two components: 1) Discussion of various designs and methodologies and 2) Student design and implementation of their own research studies in experimental child psychology.
