Description: Critically examines contemporary literature in African American psychology. Emphasizes the ideas of leading theorists (e.g., Na’imAkbar, Wade Nobles, Linda Myers) and the research literature on contemporary problems (e.g., teen pregnancy, gangs). Reading, writing and speaking intensive.
