ART 130 PZ -Design/Build StudioInstitution: Pitzer Description: A hands-on design/build course that will culminate in a collaboratively designed building that will serve as a temporary emergency structure to house two people in case of a major environmental disaster in our area. Students will work together to design and build an aesthetic and sustainable structure that can be used as easily deployable prototype in the future should such an occasion arise. Prerequisite(s): ART 037 PZ or ART 057 PZ or ART 135 PZ. Please also check the current course schedule for requirements.
