CHLT 185A CH -Decolonial Love in U.S. Latina/o Literature

Description: This course considers how narratives of love and relationships are shaped by colonial histories and decolonial practices within U.S. Latina/o literature. We will examine how colonial legacies influence notions of self and the other through categories of race, gender and sexuality and how Latina/o writers enact decolonial imaginaries in response.
