POST 185 PZ - Political Psychology The discipline of political psychology evolved as psychological theories were employed in the analysis of the political process. Today the discipline includes how political processes impact psychological functioning. This course surveys the foundations of political psychology including group dynamics and decision-making, gender differences in cognitive and political behavior, authoritarianism, Machiavellianism, violence and aggression, psychohistory, and the analysis of belief systems.
Prerequisite(s): POST 010A PZ /POST 010B PZ or PSYC 010 PZ recommended, but not required.
