POST 175 CH -Immigration and Race in AmericaInstitution: Pitzer Description: America has long prided itself in being a nation of immigrants and in its ability to assimilate persons with distinct religious cultures and national origins. Far from being color-blind, the United States has been and remains a color-conscious society. The purpose of this course is to examine immigration and the formation of racial ideologies, hierarchies, and identities in America. Prerequisite(s): Please check course schedule for requirements.
