SOC 145 CH -Restructuring CommunitiesInstitution: Pitzer Description: This course examines how Chican@/Latin@ and multi-racial communities are being transformed both locally and globally. Issues of community building and empowerment through community engagement at a day labor center, youth detention center, and a women's empowerment facility will be a fundamental component of the class.
