ANTH 103 PZ -Museums: Behind the GlassInstitution: Pitzer Description: The focus of this course is on the museum as a cultural institution. In the class we will consider why our society supports museums and why we expect that a museum will conserve materials which are deemed of cultural value and exhibit these for the education of the public. A significant part of each student's experience in the course will consist of a working internship in a nearby museum. Prerequisite(s): Please check course schedule for requirements. For up-to-date information on current course offerings and details, please refer to the Pitzer class schedule on MyCampus2 Portal.
